Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids Complex will be in your presence, the complex has existed for 4000 years which makes it one of the oldest structures on the face of the planet.

The Giza complex

consists of three main pyramids, six little pyramids, the great sphinx, and the place of immortal preservation of the valley temple.

The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Khufu, soaring towards the heavens, stands as the sole survivor among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Over 4500 years old, it remains the world's oldest enigma, shrouded in fringe theories concerning its origins and noted for its intricate interior relative to its grand scale. Constructed over a 20-year period starting in 2580 BC, it utilized 2.3 million limestone blocks, each weighing an average of 2.5 tons, and was built by a labor force of 100,000 free skilled workers. The pyramid's original height of 147 meters (481 feet) secured its status as the tallest man-made structure for 3800 years, until the Lincoln Cathedral in England was completed in 1311.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is one of the most mysterious objects in existence, it has the shape of a mythical creature called the sphinx that has the body of a lion and the head of a man who is believed to be king Khafre to represent power and wisdom. It is known as Abu Al-Hawl which is Arabic for The Father of terror. The sphinx is at the height of 73 m (240 ft) and 19 m (66 ft) and was carved out of single limestone rock.

The Valley Temple

The Valley Temple, a site central to the mummification process, was built during Egypt's Old Kingdom (2686-2134 BC) and is part of the complex. It stands as one of the most well-preserved archaeological sites from ancient Egyptian civilization, offering invaluable insights into the mummification practices of Ancient Egypt. Constructed from limestone and granite, the valley also features distinctive diorite statues of King Khafre.

The Grand Egyptian Museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum serves as a magnificent gateway to the cosmic creations of ancient Egyptian genius, nurtured over 5000 years of relentless innovation and vibrant artistic vision. This monumental marvel offers a unique opportunity to explore some of the most significant archaeological treasures ever uncovered, including the Hanging Obelisk, the Statue of King Ramses II, the Ten Statues of King Senusert, the Grand Staircase, the Statues of Ptolemaic Kings and Queens, the Victory Column of King Merenptah, the legendary Royal Regalia, and the expansive Grand Atrium & Gift Shop.

Day 3 tour to Luxor east & west attractions

On day three, you will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then accompany your Egyptologist tour guide to explore all the famous Luxor tourist attractions such as:Valley of the Kings The Valley of the Kings serves as a timeless vault nestled in the sacred mountain's heart, providing eternal repose to Egypt's New Kingdom's most illustrious rulers (1570-1070 BC). Home to 63 tombs, it is replete with a myriad of captivating treasures, artifacts, statues, mesmerizing decorations, and the mortal remains of pharaohs such as Rameses (I through X), Amenhotep I, Hatshepsut, and the renowned King Tutankhamun. This rich historical tapestry earned the valley its designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Queen Hatshepsut Temple The Temple of Hatshepsut is celebrated as the jewel of Luxor, known by its ancient name Djoser-Djeseru (Holy of Holies), reflecting the power and determination of one of ancient Egypt's most formidable rulers, Queen Hatshepsut. Designed in 1479 BC, the temple's construction spanned 15 years. Its architecture embodies the Classical style of the New Kingdom, and the temple houses some of Egypt's most remarkable statues, decorations, and artifacts.

Colossi of MemnonThe Colossi of Memnon stand out among the monuments in Upper Egypt, known as the colossal guardians of Luxor. Essentially, they are two enormous quartzite sandstone blocks, each standing 18 meters (60 feet) tall and weighing 720 tons, carved in the likeness of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC). The colossi suffered damage from a significant earthquake in 27 BC but were restored in 199 AD. They became particularly famous during the Greco-Roman period because of 'The Vocal Memnon', a phenomenon where the statues appeared to 'sing' at dawn, a sound caused by the wind passing through them.

Karnak Temple

The Karnak Temple stands as one of the most sacred sites on Earth, historically known as Ipet-isu or The Most Selected of Places, and also as Pr-Imn, the House of Amun. Dating back over 4000 years, it is the largest religious structure ever built by man and the grandest open-air museum in the world. For over 1500 years, it was the epicenter of worship for the entire ancient Egyptian kingdom, venerating various deities. Primarily, it was dedicated to the Theban triad of the god Amun, his consort, the Goddess of Justice Mut, and their son, the moon god Khonsu, along with other deities such as the revered Osiris, Montu, Ptah, and Isis.

Day 4 : transfer to Aswan by train - tour o Aswan landmark

In the morning time, you will have your breakfast and check out from the hotel in Luxor to continue Cairo, Luxor, Aswan & Abu Simbel tour by boarding a 1*class train to Aswan, the moment you arrive you will join your private Egyptologist tour guide to enjoy a tour around all Aswan tourist attractions such as:

The High Dam The High Dam is a symbol of Aswan's modern strength. Constructed between 1960 and 1970 during President Gamal Abdel-Nasser's tenure, the dam was a collaborative effort with the Moscow-based Hydro Project Institute. It aimed to improve control over the Nile's flooding, generate hydroelectric power, and enhance water storage for irrigation in its reservoir, Lake Nasser.

The Unfinished Obelisk The Unfinished Obelisk stands as a poignant narrative of an incomplete masterpiece, commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC) to grace the entrance of the Karnak temple. Known as "Tekhenu," meaning "to pierce the sky," it reveals the process of crafting obelisks from the ground up and the construction techniques of Ancient Egypt. It was intended to reach a height of 42 meters and weigh 1200 tons. Regrettably, the obelisk cracked during its construction and has remained in its original location to this day.

Philae Temple

The Philae Temple, a symbol of myth and enchantment in Aswan, is famous for spreading the "Myth of Osiris." According to this myth, Osiris, the husband of Isis, was murdered by his brother Set out of jealousy and spite. Osiris was later resurrected, becoming the lord of the underworld. Horus, the offspring of Isis and Osiris and the deity of the sky, eventually defeated Set, bringing an end to a time of despotism and wrongdoing. In the 1960s, as a result of the Aswan High Dam's construction, UNESCO orchestrated the relocation of the temple to Agilkia Island.

Day 5 : tour to temples of Abu Simple + fly back to cairo

Morning time, check out from the hotel before you will be transferred with your breakfast boxes to Abu Simbel by a private air-conditioned car joined by your private tour guide.

Abu Simbel Temples The majestic Abu Simbel Temples have stood as the guardians of Egypt's southern frontier since their inception by King Ramses II (1279-1213 BCE) in the New Kingdom, intended to perpetuate his legacy for eternity. The grandeur and glory of the temples are unparalleled, aptly reflected in their original name, "Temple of Ramesses, beloved by Amun." Abu Simbel comprises two temples: the larger one celebrates Ramses II, hosting the sun festival on February 22 and October 22 each year, when sunlight illuminates the statues of Ramses II, Ptah, Amun, and Ra. The smaller temple honors his wife, Queen Nefertari. These temples were famously relocated in a monumental UNESCO-led rescue mission in the 1960s, marking one of the most complex archaeological endeavors ever undertaken.

OvernightCatch your flight back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel for spending overnight.
